What is the mass/volume% of 250g of aqueous sodium chloride solution containing 5g of solute

mass/volume % = mass of solute / volume of soln

now aqueous soln means it must be dissolved in water ...

density of water = 1

density = mass / volume

1 = mass / volume

volume = mass

volume = 250 g

m/v% = (5/250) ×100 = 2%
