Two consecutive numbers are

X ,x+1

So there sum is

X+x+1=55

2x+1=55

2x=54

X=27

And greater nm is

X+1= 27+1=28

<b>Heya mate. (^_-). Solution below.
====================================

• What are consecutive digits?

==> Consecutive numbers or consecutive digits are the numbers which come right after a number. For example - (1-2-3); (96-97-98-99) etc.

• Coming back to the question,

• Let the two consecutive numbers be x and x + 1

• Then, their sum is 55

=> x + x + 1 = 55

=> 2x + 1 = 55

=> 2x = 55 - 1

=> 2x = 54

=> x = 54/2

=> x = 27

• Hence, the numbers are -

x = 27
x + 1 = 27 + 1 = 28

• Clearly, out of the two, 28 is greater.

<marquee>Hence, your answer is 28.</marquee>
