Na has an electronic configuration of

1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^1

So for quantum number (m)=0

Is possible for all subshells

So number of elections in m=0 for 1s is 2

Similarly for 2s is 2

2p is 2

and 3s is 1

So total number of electrons is 7
