Step-by-step explanation:

x^2+y=10

x^2=10-y........eqn (i)

put this value in first eqn

3(10-y) + y^2=64

y^2-3y-34=0

it give two values of y as it is quadratic eqn..... just check D(b^2-4ac)

you can solve too

then for 2 values of y putting in eqn (i)

we will find two different values of x for each y

so total 4 pair of values
