y = 0.05sin(100t + π/2) cm

Compare it with general SHM equation
y = A sin(ωt + φ)

We can say
A = 0.05 cm
ω = 100 rad/s

Maximum velocity = A ω
= 0.05 cm × 100 rad/s
= 5 cm/s

∴ Maximum Velocity of particle is 5 cm/s
