What is the mean and median of 7, 9, 12, 9, 13?

MEAN =sum of values/total nos of values

            =7+9+12+9+13/5

            =50/5

MEAN   =10

Median= The median is the number that is halfway into the set. To find the median, the data should be arranged in order from least to greatest. If there is an even number of items in the data set, then the median is found by taking the mean of the two middlemost numbers.

Median= first arrange the data

            =7,9,9,12,13

            =9

we have one value in the middle so thatswhy our median is 9.if we had two values in the middle so we just take mean of them and that would be  our answer ..........
