what is the mean by depressing of light? Name a natural phenomenon which is caused by the depression of sunlight in the sky why does a parting in our hair on the left appear to be a parting on the right when seen in a mirror?​

when a beam of light coming from a source strikes the glass prism some of it gets reflected, absorbed and the rest enters . It gets refracted and splits into 7 distinguish colors . This phenomenon of light is called as dispersion of light.

Rainbow is formed due to dispersion of light .
