Hepatitis is a dangerous liver disease. This disease damage the liver and the vital functions like - filtering blood e.tc. is affected. Extreme use of alcohol, drugs may result in disease like Hepatitis.
This disease is commonly caused by Viral infection. Hepatitis occurs when our body starts making antibodies in against of our liver tissues and cellls.
Hepatitis is classified into 6 types—
- Hepatitis A.
- Hepatitis B.
- Hepatitis C.
- Hepatitis D.
- Hepatitis E.
- Hepatitis G.
- Hepatitis A is caused by HAV.
- Hepatitis B is caused by HBV.
- Hepatitis C is caused by HCV.
- Hepatitis D is caused by HDV.
- Hepatitis E is caused by HEV.
- Hepatitis G is caused by HGV.
- Hepatitis is commonly known as Jaundice.
- This infection spreads through Faecal-oral route.
- In this disease Liver is enlarged and congested.
- Fever, Nausea, vomiting are common signs of Hepatitis.
