What is the mean by water of crystallisation in a substance. Ecplain with example?

The water molecules which form part of the structure of a crystal (of a salt) are called water of crystallisation.
Example- the presence of water of crystillisation in copper sulphate crystal imparts them a blue colour CuSO4.5H2O is in blue colour .
