Hii..

=> Mass per unit volume of a substance is called density.

=> Density = Mass/volume

=> SI unit of density is kg/m³

=> CGS unit of density is g/cm^3 .

AhmadHusain: i ask the meaning of density
AhmadHusain: Not formula
Anonymous: Density describes how compact or concentrated
something is. For example, suppose you have two boxes, one large and one
small. However, they both weigh the same. That means the small box has a
higher density than the large box.
AhmadHusain: No
AhmadHusain: Tell me its meaning
AhmadHusain: Not discretion
Anonymous: areh yaar... density is a measure of how compact the mass in a substance or object is....
Anonymous: got it or not ??
AhmadHusain: not
AhmadHusain: ok bhai

  • Density, mass of a unit volume of a material substance.
  • The formula for density is d = M/V, where d is density, M is mass, and V is volume.
  • Density is commonly expressed in units of grams per cubic centimetre.
  • For example, the density of air is 1.2 kilograms per cubic metre.
