Kirtan is practised at a religious place of sikhs called gurudwara , sikhs belive that kirtan connects them with god , they pray to god by singing the hymes . it is basically a devotional song .

Langar is a practise done by the believers of sikh gurus they provide free food to anyone who needs it without considering the caste , creed, gender etc. In langar all people sit together and eat , without considering rich or poor , male or female etc.
