The mean is 50.5

★Sum of first n natural numbers is  \frac{n(n + 1)}{2}

★Mean =  \frac{sum \: of \:the \: observations}{total \: number \: of \: observations}

Here, n=100 ∴ \frac{n(n + 1)}{2}  =  \frac{100 \times 101}{2}  = 5050

Mean =  \frac{5050}{100}  = 50.5
