Answer:

mp means geometric mean

mp of a and b =(a*b)^(1/2)

Step-by-step explanation:

So the answer is

=\sqrt{\sqrt{(2/7 * 32/343)} *\sqrt{(2*1/5000)} } =2/35

As we know that,

The mean proportion of any two or more number is nothing but the means which is calculated by taking the square root of the product of two quantities in a ratio.

Let two number are 'a" and "b",

So, their mean proportion will be

MP of a and b =(a*b)^(1/2)

Now from the data given in the question,

numbers are \frac{2}{7} and \frac{32}{343} and 2,{\frac{1}{5000}

Hence, The required mean proportion will be,

$$=\sqrt{\sqrt{(2 / 7 * 32 / 343)} * \sqrt{(2 * 1 / 5000)}}=2 / 35$$
