Mean propotional of 4 & 25 :

(4^25 ) = 10

So answer is C

Mean Proportional of two numbers 'a' and 'b' is 'x' such that a/x = x/b
Here a=4, b=25
So, a/x = x/b
=>x*x = a*b
=>x^2 = a*b
=> x= square_root(a*b)
=>x=square_root(4*25)
=>x=2*5=10
So, 10 is the mean proportional between 4 and 25.

Let x be the mean proportional between 4 and 25
Then, 4:x::x:25
Since, Product of means = Product of extremes
Therefore, 4x25=x^2
x=10

Answer is 10.
