ANSWER
Power -1
Whenever we see -1 as a power of any number we reciprocal the number. It means that denominator becomes numerator and numerator becomes denominator.
For example -
(1/2)^-1 = 2/1
2(3/5)^-1 = 5/3
(6/8)^-1 = 8/6 = 4/3
Power 0
Many times there is given power of 0. Whenever it is given as power 0 the number changes into 1.
For example -
(2)^0 = 1
(2)^0 + (3)^0 = 1+1 = 2
So these are the uses of two powers.
