ok so medically depression and anxiety are very different so anxiety can be a mixed feeling such which may include anxiousness sadness and many things but depression is particular feeling when u feel down or sad anxiety in medicine is treated by drugs called as antipschyotic drugs or sometimes sedative and hypnotic drugs but on the other hand depression is treated by antidepressants class of drug in complex terms there are two different parts of ur brain involved though and two different chemicals are involved
