Explanation:

A mystery story called The Black Plane by Frederick Forsyth. Who was the other pilot? is the central question of the narrative.

The name "Black Aeroplane" refers to the aircraft that supported the pilot.

In the story "Black Aeroplane," a pilot enjoys and competes with the opportunity to fly above a sleeping metropolis (at night time). From Paris to London, he is travelling via aeroplane. As he waits for his flight, he daydreams of the extended holiday with his family. Additionally, he daydreams about the delicious breakfast he will have when he gets there. As soon as he crosses Paris, he becomes aware of the dark clouds, which were a sign of the approaching storm. Turning around and going back to Paris would have been the sensible thing to do for safety's sake. He risks the lives of his passengers by flying into the storm since his dreams are too important to him to wait. It gets completely dark outside, all of his directional instruments stop working, and he loses control of the plane. He saw another plane whose pilot was anxious to help them after all hope had been lost. Because there wasn't much petrol left, the author was in a panic. The unknown pilot disappeared after they were out of the storm and in the light. The woman in the control room tells him that his was the only aircraft in the sky when he asks about the other pilot after landing, surprising him.

Here the pilot of another aeroplane is a mystery and no one had seen him.Writer gave the name of the story based on the another aeroplane.

So the name is 'black' something whose another meaning can be mysterious aeroplane.
