ana205: SCALAR has only magnitude & not direction where as Vector has both of them...
RiyaWani: whereas vector shows both magnitude and direction
ana205: e.g vector- force,displacement,velocity,etc..,e.g scalar - speed,etc
RiyaWani: scalar quantity cannot be plotted on graph paper
RiyaWani: vector cannot be plotted on graph paper
amisha53: like speed is a is a scalar quantity and for other things like electric potential I have to learn that they are scalar and vector quantity
amisha53: there is any any shortcut to know that anything is in scalar or vector quantity
RiyaWani: OK
amisha53: hey can you answer my question which I asked
RiyaWani: which question
