what is the meaning of GAS
Answers
Answer:
a substance or matter in a state in which it will expand freely to fill the whole of a container, having no fixed shape (unlike a solid) and no fixed volume.
Explanation:
For example their is more space in the cup, and elements can flow freely unlike solid or liquid.
Answer:
Gas is a kind of matter, which is known for its loose intermolecular force and large, or better, negligible intermolecular space. The molecules, therefore, move apart from each other. and so, gases don't have a definite shape, nor do they have a specific volume. They flow easily in all directions, therefore, they are also called Fluid. Gases are easily compressible, as they have an ample amount of intermolecular space. Gases always flow from a high-pressure zone, which might probably be any compressed region, to a low-pressure zone.
Example- Air, water vapor, Oxygen, Carbon dioxide, Nitrogen Oxide, Sulfur dioxide, etc
