Isotopes are the elements which have same atomic number but different atomic mass.

sakshiisthebest: Thanks but can you explain?
Kratos1111: Yeah
Kratos1111: each of two or more forms of the same element that contain equal numbers of protons but different numbers of neutrons in their nuclei, and hence differ in relative atomic mass but not in chemical properties; in particular, a radioactive form of an element.
sakshiisthebest: ??
sakshiisthebest: ohk thanks

Isotopes- any two or more species of atoms of chemical element with same atomic number and nearly identical chemical behaviour but in different atomic mass and properties..
HOPE IT HELPS YOU!!!!!!

sakshiisthebest: Thank you so much
mathematics101: ur welcome ;)
