What is the meaning of paleolithic period, mesolithic period and neolithic period??

The prehistoric age is divided into three periods. They are paleolithic period, mesolithic period and neolithic period

PALEOLITHIC PERIOD:

• The word "Paleo" means "Old" and "lithic" means "stone".

• The Paleolithic age is the most ancient period of History.

• During this period, the people were hunters and gatherers.

• They were nomads. As, they used to travel from one place to another place.

MESOLITHIC PERIOD:

• This period is between Paleolithic and Neolithic periods.

• The people during this age were still hunters and gatherers.

• But they started to stay at one place like in animal dens.

Domestication of animals was started during this period.

NEOLITHIC PERIOD:

• The most important invention of this age was wheel.

• There was development both socially and technologically.

• People used the sharp tools made up of stones.

Agriculture was also started during the Neolithic Period.
