When the soil gets depleted due to deforestation, unscientific agricultural activities and due to destruction of nature. This soil is called perishing soil.

EXPLANATION:

Soil is a natural source of nature which gets formed due to the ‘weathering of rocks’ and decomposition of organic materials over a period of time. Soil gets polluted due to non-degradable materials that get mixed with the soil.

The overusing of fertilizers affects the quality of the soil. When the land gets used for non-agricultural purposes it spoils the quality of the soil. Overgrazing of animals and draining waste into the soil affects its quality.
