Photosynthesis is the process in which green plants make their food(glucose) in the presence of sunlight, water, carbon dioxide and a green pigment called chlorophyll in their leaves. Photosynthesis is performed in the leaves.
The byproduct of photosynthesis is oxygen and water vapour which is released into the atmosphere.
