Phythagoras' Theorem is:
a^2 + b^2 = c^2
-Pythagoras' Theorem is used to work out the lengths of the sides of a right-angled triangle
-It only works on a right-angled triangle
-The c^2 is the hypontenuse of the triangle
-The squared number of the length of the hypotenuse this triangle is equal to the square of the two opposite sides
-You must find the square root of the hypotenuse after in order to find the length of it
You can work either of the adjacent side lengths (the sides which are either side of the right angle and not the hypotenuse) by doing:
c^2-a^2=b^2
or
c^2-b^2=a^2
Hope this helps:)
