❤❤❤A rheostat is a variable resistor which is used to control current. They are able to vary the resistance in a circuit without interruption. ... It uses only two connections, even when 3 terminals (as in a potentiometer) are present.❤❤❤

Hey User.

Here's your answer.

✨ RESISTANCE : It is the property of the conductor due to which it resists the flow of electric charges through it.

✨ RHEOSTAT : The device which is commonly used as a variable resistance for adjusting the current flow through a circuit.

✨ VARIABLE RESISTANCE : The resistance whose value can be suitably increased or decreased in order to adjust current flowing through the circuit without a change of voltage across it.

Hope it helps!!

Thanks ✨
