What is the meaning of scalar quantities ? Give an example.

Scalar Quantities are those quantities which have magnitude but have no direction....... For eg.----> Speed ...... Trains speed = 180 km/ h, so here 180 = magnitude and here we have no information regarding direction of the train )., time etc.
