The meaning of ‘untouchability’ is separating or segregating a group of people who belongs to a lower caste/ section of the society by considering them ritually polluted.

In this practice, lower caste people treated untouchable. But according to the Indian constitution everyone is free to do religious practice and teaching in their own way. No one can be forced to practice a particular religion also no one can be forced or categorized as untouchable by higher castes of the society.
