What is the meaning of the term “Double circulation”?

In double circulation ,the heart pumps the blood twice to perform its action.It is the process by which the cardiovascular systems of many vertebrates like mammals circulate blood throughout their bodies.

double circulation is the process in living organism where oxygenated blood and de-oxygenated blood circulates around the body separately(they don ot mix) in two different systems i.e. veins and arteries.
