The western part of the northern plain is referred as Punjab Plains, or it is also called as Punjab plains, or the Punjab Plains are in the category of the Western part of the northern plain. The larger part of this plain lies in Pakistan and it is created by Indus and it's tributaries. The Indus and it's tributaries originate in the Himalayas. They are:- the Jhelum, the Chenab, the Ravi, the Beas and the Satluj. This part of the plains is possessed by the group of people known as doabs.
