The power of accomodation is the ability to see near and distant objects clearly.The role of ciliary muscles is to contract and relax the lens to see the objects clearly.

the power of accommodation means " to see the things which are far by or else near by to you in a clear full way". the role of the ciliary muscles in achieving it is to " contract or to relax the lens so that we can see the object which is far by or near by to us "
