Median is nothing but middle most of the number

For finding median First We have to arrange the given sequence in numbers in ascending or descending order

Then find the middle most number

So, lets do that

Given sequence 12,14,19,16,18,13

Arrange in ascending/descending order = 12,13,14,16,18,19

Find the middle most number = Numbers are 14,16

So the numbers are 14,16 So, we have to find the average of their numbers

So, \frac{14+16}{2} = 30/2 = 15

So median of the given sequence is 15

Median means middle most number ..

So let's find out the middle most number of the sequence 12,14,19,16,18,13

So,First arrange the following numbers in sequence in ascending/descending order

I'm arranging in descending order 19,18,16,14,13,12

Hence middle most numbers are 16,14

So,Let's find the average of those two numbers

Average =16+14/2 =15

So,Median of given sequence is 15
