9 ,18 ,27, 36,45,54
median = N + 1 /2
here N = 6
= 6+ 1/2
=7 / 2
= 3.5
Now, in the series we have no item of having S NO . 3.5
To find the item on S no. 3.5
= 3 item +1/2 (4 item - 3 item)
= 27 + 1/2 ( 36 - 27)
= 27 +1/2 × 9
= 27 + 4.5
= 31.5 answer....
