MELTING AND COOLING POINT OF ICE;

At temperatures below 32°F (0°C), liquid water freezes; 32°F (0°C) is the freezing point of water. At temperatures above 32°F (0°C), pure water ice melts and changes state from a solid to a liquid (water); 32°F (0°C) is the melting point.

MELTING AND COOLING POINT OF WAX;

The melting/freezing point range for paraffin and hydrocarbon waxes was determined to be 43 to 95°C (CONCAWE, 1999a). The melting/freezing point was determined using the ASTM D127 method.
