Hey mate . Here is your answer .

For water, the vapour pressure reaches the standard atmospheric pressure of 1 atmosphere at 100°C. So the normal boiling point of water is 100°C (212°For 373K).The boiling point of pure water increases on the addition of soluble substances such as sugar or common salt.

Hope it helps you .

pratichianaya: thanks a lot
pratichianaya: but what is the melting point of water
fathimahamna: The melting point (or, rarely, liquefaction point) of a substance is the temperature at which it changes state from solid to liquid at atmospheric pressure.
