This story gives us a definite message. One should never be proud of one's deeds and should remain humble. Here, the over confidence and show up of Professor give him a demotion.
Knowledgable persons are Admirable, but, thier over confidence would make them a stoke of laughter to others.
Whenever some show up, The professor out shoned him. This make him less admirable.
So, showism of knowledge and all good traits is never admired. Instead, we should devolop an attitude of self respect and try not to be arrogant at one's own achievements
