Answer:

The message is about a  small girls attitude and behaviour. she dont want to obey her parent  We have all felt pressurized to be perfect, and more often than not, that pressure has come from our mothers. Perhaps we have also dealt with the pressure in the same way that Amanda has – slowly but surely resisting it. However, our mothers haven’t stopped nagging us, because they feel that it is for our own good. Hence, the entire trajectory of this poem is something with which we are all very familiar.

hope it helps......

Answer:

The message is that a small girl is having attitude of irritation by her mother's instructions. Her mother always instructs her to do this and not to so that but she is very irritated and obsessed with the instructions given by her mother. So, she wants to live a live alone where nobody is there to disturb her.
