Simply it is the process of urination. From the kidney at first the urine reach to the urinary tubes or canals then it reach to the urinary bladder, where the urine is preserved for a certain periods of time then it comes out through the lining of urethra.

During the time of micturition the detrusor muscle to contract and the internal urethral sphincter to relax due to parasymphatic stimulation of the urinary bladder and urethra.When the bladder is full of urine, stretch receptors in the bladder wall trigger the micturition reflex.
