What is the mid-point of the line segment joining the vertices (-2,-4) and (6, -7)?

(-2 + 6)/2 , [-4+ (-7) ] /2

=> 4/2 , -11/2

=> ( 2, -11/2)

basically we just to do add the x coordinate of both the points

that is x1= -2,x2= 6 ,and divide them by 2,

similarly for y coordinate

so, A.T.Q. (-2+6)/2 =2 and (-7+(-4))/2

that is (2,-11/2)
