What is the middle class morality that the narrator seems to represent here..?? How does this contrast with what Gangu believe..??

The contrast in the story, “The Child” is the middleclass morality of narrow-minded persons to that of courage, sincerity and goodness in Gangu who accepts a widow for wife and her new born as his own child.

Acceptance is thought here in the different level of morality, whether if we are really ready and going to accept changes or are we going to stick with the culture that we holds and strongly believes into.
