Answer:

The maximum displacement = 2 r

The minimum displacement = 0

Explanation:

Given that

Radius of circular path = r

Lets take two point on the circular part A and B

θ = 180 °

For small part

L = d θ

When θ will become 180 ° or π then

L =  r π

Lets take particle start moves from point A in clock wise direction and reach at point B so the AB = r π

The  displacement = 2 r

The distance = r π

When moves from B to A

BA=  r π

The displacement = 2 r

The distance = r π

The total distance cover from A to B and B to A is 4 r π.

The final displacement when it reach at A is zero.

The maximum displacement = 2 r

The minimum displacement = 0
