For minimum and Maximum digits in the sum of two Three digit number , we will choose maximum and minimum 3 digit number .

For minimum number of digits :

=> 100 + 100 = 200 = 3 digits .


For maximum number of digits :

=> 999 + 999 = 1998 = 4 digits .
