What is the minimum number of languages one has to know to become a polyglot? I know 5 languages ( English, Bengali, Hindi, Spanish, and Russian), can I call myself a polyglot?

Answer:

Did you know that the world’s population has more multilingual people than speakers of just one language?

If you can speak two languages, you’re bilingual; three and you’re trilingual. If you speak even more than three, you might be known as a polyglot. And if you’re any of the above, you can also describe yourself as multilingual.
