solving the inequality 5 – 8x < 2x + 3

subtract 3 both sides , we get

-3+5-8x<2x+3-3

=> 2-8x<2x

subtract 2x both sides, we get

=> 2-8x-2x<2x-2x

=> 2-10x<0

=> -10x < -2

=> (-10x)/(-10) > (-2)/(-10)

=> x > 1/5
