It would depend on the proportions. Copper, nickel and chromium are all common “residual” or trace elements in steel. They are also added deliberately, in a wide range of compositions, to form various alloyed steels. Typically ftom 0.10% by weight, up to 1 or 2% or more. And stainless steels contain typically 15% or more chromium, and 8% or more nickel.
