The ringworm is a fungal infection spreads by fungus ,when you come in contact with dirty air or go bare foot on swimming pools, bathroom, toilet ,so it is classified as tinea. It's symptoms are small red pimples ,red patch on the skin.
The athlete foot or tinea pe dia affects the area between toes ,it also spreads when we go barefoot around swimming pool and changing rooms.
