The methods of farming that uses high inputs of capital, labour, heavy usage of farm machinery such as threshers, harvesters, winnowing machine, heavy usage of technology such as selective breeding, pesticides, chemical fertilizers and insecticides are known as modern farming methods.
As a coin has two faces similarly modern farming has advantages as well as disadvantages. Some of the disadvantages of modern farming methods are:
