What is the molality of acetic acid solution containing 6 gram of acetic acid in hundred gram of water?

mass of solute(acetic acid)=6gm

mass of solvent(water)=100gm

molar mass of solute=60gm

Therefore,

molality=mass of solute*1000/molar mass of solute*mass of solvent

=6*1000/60*100

=1M

so the molality is 1M
