What is the molality of naoh in the final solution when equal masses of 2 molal naoh and 4 molal naoh are mixed?

Here's the answer you are looking for

2m solution means 2 moles in 1 kg of solvent

&

4m solution means 4 moles in 1 kg of solvent.

When these 2 are added, we get 6moles in 2 kg of solvent .

Now molality of the resulting solution

= number of moles / weight of solvent

= 6 moles / 2 kg

= 3m

Therefore the molality of the resulting solution is 3m.
