10% solution of NaOH means 100ml of solution contains 10 gm of NaOH

Molarity of 10%(w/v) of NaOH solution:

Number of moles of solute divided by volume of solution.

 10/40 = 1/4 =0.25M

Ans : 0.25 M is the molarity of 10% NaOH solution.
