..The poetess is sad as her mother is no more in this world. she is all alone. the poetess is looking at the photograph of her mother when she was twelve and trying to analyse the snap taken. she is pretending to be happy as to show the world ,also to avoid her loneliness and sadness she is trying to pretend so but inwardly she is sad because of her mother's death
